Schneider 300mm f5.6 Symmar, faint haze Copal 3 5741973

This Schneider-Kreuznach 300mm f5.6/500mm f12 Double Convertible Lens, #5741973, is in good condition with some handling wear. I rate it cosmetically an (8). The glass has no haze, marks, or fungus. There are a few faint specks of dust inside, but they do not affect image quality. When both elements are used, it is a 300mm f5.6 lens with coverage up to 8x10", a 70-degree angle of view, and a 402mm image circle at f22. When only the rear element is used, it is a 500mm f12.5 lens with coverage up to 8x10, 30-degree angle of view, and a 610mm image circle at f16. The included Copal No. 3 shutter is in similar condition, also rated an (8). The aperture lever is smooth, but the shutter speed wheel is quite stiff. The shutter is accurate at all speeds and the aperture functions properly. This lens includes front & rear caps.
